1. Diagnosis & Timing: Accurately diagnose malocclusions in growing patients, determining the optimal skeletal growth stage for effective interceptive myofunctional appliance therapy.
2. Appliance Selection & Management: Select the appropriate appliance based on the diagnosis, and develop a clear protocol for its management, activation, and compliance monitoring during the interceptive phase.
3. Myofunctional Therapy Integration: Prescribe and instruct patients on complementary myofunctional exercises (myotherapy) to correct abnormal muscle habits and ensure long-term stability of the treatment outcome.
