Performing Endodontic Like A Boss with Dr. Waleed Kurdi

Date: 4th to 6th May 2023 (Thursday to Saturday)

Day 1 : Lectures and Endodontic Study Group
Topic 1: Protocols for a successful endodontic treatment (Part 1 – MB2 & MM detection, ultrasonics, working length determination)
Topic 2: Protocols for a successful endodontic treatment (Part 2 – Irrigations and obturation)
Endodontic Study Group: 5 presenters

Day 1 will begin with lectures following the above topics and case discussion by 5 participants with interesting endodontic cases.

Day 2 : Lectures and Hands-on Workshop

Topic 1: Ledge and curved canals
Topic 2: Retreatments (Non-surgical)

Day 2 will include lectures on the above topics. Hands-on exercises will be conducted on resin acrylic blocks simulating ledges and acrylic teeth simulating curved canals (moderate and advanced). The participants will learn to bypass the ledges, clean, shape, and obturate curved canals. An M4 cicada handpieces will be supplied for all participants.

Day 3 : Lectures and Hands-on workshop
Topic 1: Managing separated instruments (Part 1 – Bypass)
Topic 2: Managing separated instruments (Part 2 – Retrieval)

Day 3 will include lectures on managing separated instruments with hands-on exercises (both bypassing and retrieving files) on natural teeth prepared by the participants themselves before the workshop. LeoPen retrieval kit and microscopes will be provided.
